Packaging specification and artwork library program

For manufacturers with dozens or hundreds of carton SKUs, we turn production samples into a complete packaging record for every SKU, ready for your document control, your receiving inspection, and any future supplier.

Who it's for

Mid-size and large medical device, pharmaceutical, and other regulated manufacturers whose carton records have fallen behind their product line:

  • Legacy SKUs with no current artwork files
  • Cartons bought for years without a written specification
  • Incoming inspection that relies on memory or a reference sample
  • A supplier change, acquisition, or site transfer that needs complete records
  • An upcoming audit that will look at packaging and labeling controls

Proven at scale

We've completed this program for a medical device manufacturer with more than 200 carton SKUs. Every SKU now has a dieline, artwork, specification, and inspection overlay on file. Read the case study.

What you receive for every SKU

Structural dieline

Measured from your production samples and drawn as an accurate cut-and-crease file.

Print-ready artwork

Collected where it exists, and recreated where it doesn't, for your review and approval before it's used.

Packaging Parts Specification (PPS)

A written specification of the carton: dimensions, structure, board, print, and the details your receiving and purchasing teams need.

Incoming inspection overlay

An acetate overlay of each carton for your incoming receiving inspection (IRI), so inspectors can check structure and print position against the specification quickly.

Organized repository

Every PPS in a three-ring binder, plus all artwork and dielines on an external drive and through an offsite server link.

How the program works

  1. Collect samples

Send production samples of each carton SKU, along with any artwork or drawings you already have.

  2. Build the records

We create dielines, recover or recreate artwork, and draft a PPS for every SKU.

  3. Your review and release

Your team reviews each specification and artwork file and releases them through your own document control.

  4. Overlays and handoff

We produce inspection overlays and deliver the binder, drive, and server repository.

Specifications and artwork are drafted by us and approved and released by you. Recreated regulatory labeling content should be verified by your regulatory team against your approved labeling.
